Headed back to the South for a few days for a work trip—but instead of taking a red-eye flight, like I usually do, I opted for a mid-afternoon out of SFO. (In)conveniently, my iPod died within twenty minutes of take-off, and I forgot my book, which meant that distractions had to be found out the window. And look what happens when you unplug! Beautiful flying conditions, gorgeous cloud formations, and saturated color (not to mention one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen) kept me awed and entertained for the whole four hours. Can I stay up there forever?
